Church Signs for Existing Railings, Fences, Gates and Posts

Our range of existing mounted aluminium church signs are manufactured from high quality 3mm aluminium composite sheet which using the latest technology can be CNC profile cut to almost any shape or size. Our aluminium composite church signs can be manufactured to one of a choice of 26 standard background colours or full colour printed graphics applied. The rear of the signs are a traffic grey finish as standard and have post fixing rails securely attached to the rear of the sign panel. To date we have supplied hundreds of these signs to churches and places of worship across the UK.

Why Use Aluminium Composite for your New Church Signs ?

Aluminium composite (ACM) is an alternative material to aluminium that is  used in the production of internal and external signage and displays. Widely used in many commercial applications ACM is formed from two thin layers of aluminium which are then bonded to form a sandwich with a low density polyethylene core. The finished sheet is lightweight yet durable and is ideal for long term wall mounted signage applications.

Sign Fixing Rails Attached to The Rear of The Panel

Each sign panel has aluminium sign rail securely attached to the rear of the panel across its width. This along with our wide range of stainless steel sign fixings allows the panel to be securely fitted into position.

We offer a nationwide installation service using our own fully qualified, DBS checked and insured fitting teams. We directly employ our staff and do not use subcontractors. Our simple pricing policy allows for the time taken traveling to and from your site and the actual time on site installing your new signs. All materials such as sign fittings, concrete and finishing tarmac are included in our prices. The only additions that we usually come across is where you would like us to remove large signs for disposal or if extra length sign posts are required. In such instances in addition to our original quotation we would only charge you for the extra time taken or materials used.

As you can see from the example below there are many different sizes, shapes and styles of existing metal railings, fences, gates and posts used in churches across the UK. We offer a wide range of sign fixings that are suitable for most locations but we would need your help to identify which fixings would be suitable for your particular application. On many occasions we have found that sending us a colour photograph of your gate, railings, fence or posts along with some basic dimensions will help us identify the most suitable type of fixing to be sent with your order.

Information Required

Along with a basic description and a photograph to help your order the following information would be very useful.

Signs to fit Existing Metal Posts

1/ What is the shape of your post ? Square or Circular ?

2/ If circular please tell us the diameter of the post.

3/ If you have square posts please tell us the measurement across one of the post faces.

4/ If your sign is to be fitted on 2 existing metal posts can you please tell us the distance between the outsides of the posts.

Signs to fit Existing Metal Railings

1/ Please tell us the shape of the vertical railing bar ie Circular ? Square ? or any other shape ?

2/ The size of the vertical railing ie the diameter of a bar or the measurement across the face if a irregular or square bar

3/ A photographs and basic measurements would go a long way to help us identify the correct fixings required

* We do not need to know the the gaps between the railings it is the actual railing bar measurement that is important.

Signs to fit Existing Metal Gates and Fences

1/ Can you tell us the type of fence ? ie Palisade Fencing, Mesh Fencing, V Mesh Fencing, Wire Mesh Fencing ?

2/ With a metal gate are there Solid Vertical Bars ? Metal Slats ? Wire Mesh ?

3/ Again a photograph and basic measurements would go a long way to help us identify the correct fixings required

Delivery

All orders will be delivered to your specified address. Deliveries are only made between Monday - Friday between 7am and 8pm Deliveries are not made on public holidays or at weekends.

Unless specifically requested or agreed, our delivery is typically to ground floor entrance areas. In the event that premium services are required e.g. delivery to point of use in multi-storey buildings, these are by quotation and arranged in conjunction with your sales representative. These arrangements may also apply to some bespoke products which may be very heavy or bulky thus requiring special delivery arrangements.

Carriage is charged on all orders. England, Wales and most parts of Scotland £12.00 + Vat per order irrespective of value. Grampion and Highlands £30.00 + Vat per order. The Channel Islands and The Isle of Man £48.00 + Vat per order (3 Day Service) Northern Island £48.00 + Vat per order (3 Day Service)

As with all parcel carriers the point of delivery is to the first door of the address. Any subsequent transportation from this point is not included.

On each product page we have tried to show the expected delivery lead time for each product. The expected delivery dates shown are approximate and cannot be guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

We Cannot Guarantee Delivery Dates or Times.

Signs Scott Ltd manufactures the majority of their product ranges on site and holds large stocks of finished product. Stock products will be dispatched in 2/3 days any orders which require bespoke manufacture will be despatched between 18 - 25 working days. In all cases please allow up to 30 - 40 working days for delivery.

Please note that Signs Scott Ltd uses a combination of our own transport and national carriers. We pack all our products to a high standard to protect the product in transit.

Where access is denied without prior knowledge and the item required to be re-delivered, Signs Scott Ltd reserves the right to charge for any extra carriage charges involved.

The customer is required to check the consignment for any damages or missing items whilst in transit.

All goods must be inspected for damage before signing the carriers delivery note. Damaged items must be annotated on the delivery note.

By signing the delivery note without checking for any damage you are signing that the goods have been received in "Good Condition" and no claims for damage can be entertained.

If the customer is unsure to the condition of the product received then we request the delivery is signed for as damaged with the carrier representative.

The national carriers and Signs Scott Ltd do not accept packages to be signed for as 'unchecked'.

All damage must be reported as soon as possible (within 24 hours) for collection and / or replacements to be authorized.
